Well known South African Disc Jockey, DJ Clock (Kholile Elvin Gumede) is set to perform in a one-off show at Lizard Entertainment tonight (Friday).
The celebrated DJ was expected to fly-in yesterday (Thursday) and be chauffer driven into the country’s second largest city for the gig scheduled to start at 8pm.
He will share the stage with the likes of DJ Bunz (Peter Gaseitsiwe) and a number of other supporting acts from the Ghetto.
Mike Njuga, one of the organizers, said the show is expected to set the tone for the winter session to come.
The much-anticipated show will be a perfect opportunity for the celebrated South African to demonstrate why he continues to be a firm favorite of many in his home country and beyond the borders of South Africa.
DJ Clock started his musical career at the tender age of 12.
The Umahamba yedwa -hit-maker uses his music as his main form of communication because he does not talk much.
His music has been receiving the nod of approval from the local dance music community and it proves that he is here to stay.
