The quartet suspected to have leaked BGCSE examination papers to students back in 2023 will have to wait a little longer to stand trial after court postponed the matter to August.

Chief Invigilator, Tshepo Oakile, as well as Baroma Baroma and Bonnete Bamuza Saxhoma all appeared before Francistown Regional Magistrates Court on Monday morning expecting trial to commence.

However, with the second accused, Precious Phalantwa plus the substantive prosecutors failing to turn up, the case was rescheduled to 10 – 13 August.

In a matter with its roots in Maun, the suspects are charged with theft after allegedly leaking 13 exam papers, covering key subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Geography.
