AFCON trophy
We were at the airport to see the arrival of the AFCON trophy.

We are still asking ourselves if indeed it is the real thing. I have a dream just like every African player to lift it one day. It was an exciting day for me and my Zebras teammates. Seeing the trophy has motivated us ahead of our maiden AFCON appearance. We were however all very excited to see it and were motivated by the arrival of the trophy at the time we have qualified.

Wrong Medication
Oh yes there has been talk about doping tests as we prepare to go to AFCON.

What I can reveal is that there are some tablets that we are not allowed to use like my prodol. We have been given a list of them by the national team doctors. If something we don’t know is prescribed we have to okay it with the Zebras team doctors. The challenge however is at club level where there is no proper monitoring.

No own goal!
I have never scored an own goal in my entire career, it is one of the things that I dread very much.

I’m also yet to score a hat-trick in my career, and I hope with the good form I’m in right now I could get one. I am also top of the goal scorer’s chat; not to say that I’m already the Green boot winner; the competition is tough. The good thing is now we have a lot of local players banging in goals; Master Masitara is the only foreigner amongst the sharp shooters.

Pressure
I hear people talking about my former team, Township Rollers making a great leap towards the top.

I agree that football is a pressure game but there are four other teams chasing us and I like it that way. If you want to be a winner you need to be able to handle pressure. You should not fear anybody. What I have realised is that this season it is really tough, no time for two teams dominance.

Miracles
In football the unthinkable always happen. Who would have thought Manchester City could humiliate Man United 6-1.As an Arsenal sympathiser it was good to have them hammered that way after they demolished my team 8-2. The beauty of football is that you shouldn’t take things for granted.

Celebrations
Lastly you can now check my new celebration as we play Mogoditshane Fighters.

I will come up against Oteng Mongala my former team-mate at Rollers. I hear he is on form and wants to be like me and his brother Phenyo Mongala currently at Celtic. The boy is my homeboy form Kanye so it will surely be one of the games to watch with another former Chiefs top man, Mpho Mabogo facing us.
